Hey guys, I'm new to PayPal, and I've got a few questions. I'm hoping someone could possibly help me out:

1) I opened a personal account, (International; Canadian). I added my Canadian bank account (it's savings). Now what do I do? My balance still says $0.00... Do I need to "activate" my account by adding a credit card for my balance ot be updated? I do not own a credit card, but I do have a debit card. It came with my savings account...

2) My main purpose in using this account is to be able to send money, (not recieve). To send money what do I need to do? Do I need to add a credit card first? Or can I just send money using my savings account that I just added.

That's just about it. The reason why I posted here was because I e-mailed Paypal 3 days ago, with no response. I've been getting kind of restless so I pretty much said "screw it" and posted here...:cool:

Just enter the recipient's email address and the amount you wish to send. You can pay with a credit card or checking account, not a savings account.

Not savings? Then why do they even offer the option of adding a savings account?

I'm depressed. Does anyone know of a similar service like paypal? For Canadians maybe?

Nope, I've looked everywhere. Though, paypal is working on this, and it'll probably be up soon. I hope it works out.:)
