It might help to post what type plan you are looking for?
You can also post in the web advert/offer forum for what you are needing and hosts can respond to you.

Yeah ... going on five hours now for my one site, which is pretty sucky. The other site (which was just moved) is working fine.

we are actually looking for a virtual hosting plan , that can guarantee a high uptime. we cannot accept two hours of downtime in one day. we are currently publishing critical information for our clients, that will be updated everyday. we do not mind paying slightly higher price in exchange for "peace of mind". in fact, we already have setup an alternate mirror site just to cater to these situations.

We started hosting at Netnation...extremely expensive, but never experience any downtime the entire year (guess you get wat u pay for). switched over to readyhosting (very cheap), but slow in responding, major downtime.

lately, we have hosted at weinbar and aletiahosting. weinbar was acceptable, minimum downtime, great support.
aletia still experiencing downtime at this moment. no reply yet from them.

i have seen site5 mentioned here as a great hosting company and would like to hear from those on their virtual hosting plan. we are also open to those who can provide any similar plan as site5. Uptime is the priority here, willing to pay more if u can guarantee uptime. i m very frustrated with all these downtime, changing of server, changing of dns, ... but most of all i do not want to lose any more of my customers.

Hi,

I think you'd better put a request in the advertising forums so the hosting companies can reply to your request directly.

I recommended tera-byte.com and below10host.com. Both are very reliable. I personally have never had any downtime with them.

We apologize for that. One of our machines (dolphin) was frozen and had to be rebooted manually, so this only affected sites that are on the machine (it wasn't a network-related issue).

Once we have the 24/7 reboot system up and running within the coming week, such reboots should automatically occur even without human intervention. This will be announced in our upcoming electronic newsletter, so keep a lookout for it.

Maybe it's me but, IMHO, I think it's pretty cool that someone from Aletia posted an explaination to the problem within five hours of the original posting. So much better than Hostsave ...

BTW, my only connection to Aletia is that of satisfied customer.
