If I bought a used cobalt raq 3 for testing, could I go out and get a 60 or 80 gig drive and stick it in there? Would that work? Is there a max that Cobalt can take?

I'm no guru on the subject but it is my belief that you can do this provided you use the latest OSRCD, to do a complete OS restore with. The original OS will only recognise up to 30 gig.

You might get a more definitive answer if you searched the cobalt mailing list archives

It's possible because I've seen Cobalt RAQ3's with 120 gig hard drives.
