Are there any good free programs that can monitor a window's server resources and then report on them?

- memory utilization
- cpu utilization
- disk utilization
- anything else that's useful

I would need to see:

- average usages
- peak usages
- anything else that's useful

I basically need something that can tell me when/if our servers are too heavily loaded. And if so, what specifically needs to be upgraded/changed. (mem/disk/cpu, etc..)

Thanks.

What do Windows hosts around here do for monitoring and gauging the health of their servers?

Do they use perfmon?

You can use MMC to connect to Performance Monitor in Administrative Tools....... and see all stats remotely.... from any Windows 2000 pro or server OS...
