I'm thinking about installing TMDA (http://www.tmda.net) on my servers as the prospect of saving my clients from ungodly spam is a great perk IMHO. However, I'm not familiar enough with how it incorporates itself into my mail server and if it would work well with name based hosting in a shared environment.

Anyone have experience with this? Or using a technology similar to TMDA to prevent spam? If you don't know what TMDA is, read a little in the link above and make an educated post. :)

What are some other ways you have setup similar type spam prevention systems? Any insight is helpful. Thanks.

It works, but can be damned aggravating too. Have you looked at SpamAssassin? Takes a bit more tweaking from the admins end but it a lot more convenient from the client end.

Greetings:

We've implemented SPAMAssassin, and so far it has been a blast working flawlessly.

Take care.
