Just wondering if anyone else signed up for the Discover Advertising special.

After adding Discover to my merchant account, they contacted me about some targeted advertising on several sites (yp.yahoo.com and a number of others). I'm actually on the featured page of newyork.citysearch.com (search for 'internet') which is kindof exciting. I'm sure with other entries like "Charity Beverage USA" on there, i'll be getting a good amount of the traffic. :)

Unfortunetly I didnt get my welcome kit yet so I dont have the website or telephone number to sign up, but its only $35/mo and its seeming to do well so far.

Awesome let us know how that turns out. We are always on the lookout for advertising methods.

its not junk to me.

When somebody calls me to sell me something or writes me to sell me something without me asking for it, it's called junk mail (call).

Granted sometimes what they offer must be interesting but the business practice is the same.

All you need is an answering machine. My home phone says "We aren't taking calls right now, so please leave a message." Works like a charm :)

I personal have this (http://www.emaxhosting.com/answeringmachine.mp3) on my home phone. They usually hang up about 10 min into it. If anyone needs me they have all the family cell # if there important.:D
