Rigt now im using a dedicated server allowing me 80gb of bandwidth a month, i have an image archice site 1,000 plus images runing through a anti-leech cgi script do to problms i use to have. As you can guess with every image runing through cgi my CPU usage is probly high i used to be hosted with Communitech.net untill they told me i had to go dedicated because i used up to much CPU.

So now i've had a dedicated server for almost 2 months this month will be a full month and so far for this month i've used almost 3gb of bandwidth wich is a surprise for me because going buy Communitech.net stats i was using 1gb of bandwith a day i don't know how they can be that far off my site traffic hasnt changed at all i acutally get more now i used a out side tracker to keep track of it (hitbox)

My problem is that im paying 300 a month for 5gb or 8gb of bandwidth usage a month im guessing thats what it will be at the end of this month.

So can someone give me some advice on what i should do? I don't belive in unlimited bandwdith or unmetered bandwidth theres no such thing all host have a limit i've found that out servial times because i've moved my site 3 times but i know CPU usage is why they get rid of me.......theres only 1 site on my server acutally 3 but they don't get any real traffic im only need the one what if i went with Co-Location? I dont know how they work im just on a RaQ3 i wonder if i would get tossed off one of them for using to much CPU?

Thanks

Diana,
I have a server with very low CPU usage that I can probably host you on for less then you are now paying. If you are interested, email me or come by my site and hit HumanClick. Please have your current CPU usage stats handy so that we can get an idea of what the usage would be on mine. I'll treat you honestly and fairly :)

Diana,

Hmmmm, I'm lost. I don't exactly understand your situation here. Are you hosting with someone who uses a RaQ3, or do you have your own leased RaQ3?

E-mail me at vince@jtan.com, or ICQ me at 26358995. I'd like to talk to you about this, as I may be able to help you out. :)

Sorry I didn't get back to you quicker Diana. I have been busy lately and didn't have time to browse this forum. Since you have a Raq, that will not run as high on my Alabanza server. For a personal quote, please email me, hit HumanClick on my site, or ICQ # 13353202. If you email me, please let me know how much space you need as well.

It's my own Raq i just lease it, i just think its way more than what i need.......i still haven't used up 3gb of bandwidth for this month yet i was thinking i was goning to need 50gb of bandwidth a month thanks to Communitech.net saying i use 1gb a day!! and for space i've only used up 30mb

Hmmm. Well, Diana, if you wouldn't mind, post your e-mail address or send me an e-mail at vince@jtan.com. I'd be glad to discuss some cheaper options for what you are currently using.
