if you run with I.E 6 with a resolution 600x800 it will take you to the site right awya, but if you are not using I.E 6 or not have your resoulution at 600x800 it sends you to a page that warns you that this website was made for I.E 6 with the resolution at 800x600

You can do as you like, but why alienate people that dont use 8x6 res? Chances are they will click off your site and not return unless by accident for not making you site resolution independant.

Don't use percentages in other words, use pixel widths. That's my help... and it cost you nothing atall :)

yeah, the last thing you want to do is to direct people away from your site.

Instead of having them cater to you, you cater to them with a website that will work with any resolution and most browsers.
