I can't beleive it I get all these emails suddenly in my sales, support, and domain registration sites email it is spam for a online casino and web hosting. I look at the headers and it is from my own customer.

When he sent it to support it opened a Help Desk ticket in his user name.

You would think if you are going to spam the last thing you would want to do is spam your own upstream especialy one with a TOS that says they can charge your card $500.00 if you are caught spamming.

Needless to say there is someone looking for a new reseller account.

I've always said, if spammers were smart, they'd have real jobs.

Look at the bright side, they were all local relays(I assume) :D. Only system resource usage, and no bandwidth ;).

Heh, this is because all their incoming emails have been recorded into a mailing list without owner authorization. They might store your email addresses for replied support ticket, welcome emails, etc.

This happened to me once, and on the same day HE.net pulled the connection off until I explained to them that this freak wasn't on the server anymore. Yeah, down for 24 hours. I felt so innocent but still, I should have known even he didn't spam me.

Heh, give him a ticket and kick him away ;)

Charge the $500 and drop him. (Unless he was hacked or something.)

Oh well maybe I should thank him.
Normally I have to spend hours tracking down spammers, he came to me;)
