I am planning to have a managed server within a month. After reading many posts, still unsure what I should do about it!

For the Server, I think I will go for the Planet. The the price they are offering for a P4, there are no other companies that can offer such services!! (btw, I want it with cpanel)

I am not planning to ask them to manage it, because it is a bit too high pricing for me right now! The company that I am planning to find is
Vital Information Technology (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=132291) Their offer seems pretty good as well. Another company that I am looking at is wemanageservers.com . But I think they price higher. Since i am not fimilar with both of them, I would choose the cheaper one.

I know that if I hire a server admin, it will cost a lot. Is my decision right or not? Do you have better advise for me? Please give me some opinions!!

I was just making another suggestion, because he thought that no other company could do a server for the same price. I don't work for DedicatedNow, and I don't even resell for DN at the moment - I'm just making another suggestion. (by the way, I did a search, and can only find three recent posts (within the last few weeks) that have to do with DN...

mainarea always suggest so many different hosting company ... I still remember he suggested me to go with theplanet or nocster.

I know Mouse at the RackShack forums has a company called http://www.easyservermanagement.com - I haven't used them, but you could check them out (and you can post on the RS forums as well, I believe a bunch of people use Easy Server Management there). Prices aren't that bad either....

Anyone has good/bad experience with them? How good are they in keeping your server secure?

I have decided to go for dedicatednow
and will find a dedicatednow reseller becasue they are offering cheap management as well.
has to made it before 25th this month to enjoy the special offer!!
