Hello,

From Windows 2000, how can you test if (2) CPUs are working.

Obvious, at least one has to work, or else I wouldn't be able to turn on the pc. But is there anyway from windows to test if the other CPU is working?

right click on the task bar at the bottom of the screen and choose "Task Manager" got into the "Performance" tab and if the CPU Usage History graph is split in two then it will show the performance of BOTH CPUs !!

Do you know how to test this on a unix system???

Also, would you know how to test the cache size??

Thank you.

It would help if you told us what kind of Unix you're running!

If you're running Linux, try doing this:

cat /proc/cpuinfo

If it gives you info about two cpu's - then it's working :-)
