JustinH 04-19-2003, 03:50 PM Well after posting this I've been playing with ticket manager (http://tm.jynx.net/) and I have to say it's pretty nice. Email2Desk support and fairly simple, but modular. I like it so far and I'll update this thread as I play with it more :). Vinayak_Sharma 04-19-2003, 09:51 PM Try phpCOIN at http://www.phpcoin.com its free, good and have lots of other features too, like billing etc. JustinH 04-20-2003, 01:06 AM Wasn't really happy with phpcoin... would be a PAIN to customize. I decided to go with SSM.. not the best but pretty easy to modify. Plus I already wrote a module for email 2 desk support :). middleground 04-20-2003, 11:50 AM Originally posted by comphosting Wasn't really happy with phpcoin... would be a PAIN to customize. Sorry you weren't happy with it, curious of your definition of customize? Colors, fonts, layout, fields, etc.? JustinH 04-20-2003, 12:59 PM Specifically how hard it would be to recode to match the site design. It seems like a great script, but customizing the actualy HTML would take a lot of work. middleground 04-20-2003, 01:30 PM Originally posted by comphosting Specifically how hard it would be to recode to match the site design. As a note- although must edit html in code- there are only about 6 functions that covers 90% of the layout. And a stylesheet for colors / font sizes. :) Thanks again for letting me know JustinH 04-20-2003, 02:36 PM Originally posted by middleground OK- was curious. I would actually probably move to that system if that were the case, even if PHP is integrated, it's just easier to locate. I'd recommend looking at Support Services Manager to get an idea what I'm talking about :). Well- actually there are- simply turn them on :) Right, Left, Admin only, Client only, etc. Screen Shot: http://www.phpcoin.com/addons/gallery/Main_Screens/Main_With_Menus |
