Im trying to delete NS1 and NS2 from GoDaddy but I get this error:
Error: pendremove: (532) Domain names linked with name server;

[Remove the nameservers, not DNS settings]

Does this mean that there are other domains using that DNS setting or does it mean that the domain selected's DNS uses thoes settings?

It means there are domain names using the name servers you are trying to delete. The registry does not allow you to delete nameservers that are tied to active domain names.

You must remove the name servers from all the domains first. Then you can delete the name servers.

Wait thats weird, none of my godaddy domains have DNS pointing to it. If there are other godaddy customers or other registar customers who have DNS linked to ns1 and ns2 @ my server, I wont beable to delete it will I?

No biggy - you must have set the domain as a name server?

Name servers are handled diferently - to make sure no newbe crashes any sites he/she host.

First delete the IPs - and it's best to ask support for help.

I would contact GoDaddy on this one instead of screwing with your settings.

That's what their support gets paid to do ;)
