My name is Rob Wilson, currently our portfolio that we offer clients as a sample of the standard of work is limited and we need to build this. This is one on the reasons we our offering a special offer of low cost website design. There are five sites that can be created including a logo and basic flash work as well as content.

Prices start from just $50 but depeding on the type of site needed the price may vary. We can also offer logo design and revamping your old website. Please PM us for more information and to chat if you are intrested in ordering the special offer.

Thanks for your time,
Regards,

50$ is not cheap enough. People want to pay not more than 45$ for a sheared template, so ...

At the end of the day this is whats wrong with the web design business. People expect everything for hardly anything these days. $45 a template, a decent one would have at least 4-5 hours work put into it and thats like $9 an hour where as $20 per hour used to be a steal.

As to $45 for a template thats all good and well just for a template, but was I offering a template. I was offering a full website and seeing is the projects are going to be going into our portfolio then these are high quality sites which many hours work spent on them.

Im sorry you feel that way but all told u can buy yourself a template for $45 and spend your own time adding context or you can get yourself a fully designed website for a small amount more, your choice.

I wouldn't judge the web design market by WHT. Most of the users here either do some design or work with one, so spending can sometimes be thin.

$45 for a full design... that's so cheap!

If my site wasn't be designed right now, I would jump right in there! A full design (personal/not shared) is going to be more expensive than a shared template so I don't see where gmarik is coming from.

Good luck in your portfolio building :).

iCity - I know what you are speaking about, many, many ... hours of hard testing ... and 9$ / hour ... yes, not the best part to be. It is better to be a php programmer... these days...

My comments on this kind of thing are strong

Design nowadays costs , not only the client, but the designer, cost of software, time, the electricity of using the computer to produce graphics, sometimes webspace to upload to.....

Also time is a precious thing, as life is too short - which is why i realised this and upped my prices.....

in my eyes $200 is cheap for a good template....

Even if it's $50, I still would like to see something of your portfolio first.
