It's mainly the smaller companines we are looking to take over the one man bands in there room with a a hundred + hosting accounts on a dedicated server. We may also be interested in investing in small start ups

How much are you looking to spend?

I have a very good startup idea. I have already spec'd out all costs...both hardware and operational costs. I'd be interested in talking if you have $200,000 - $250,000 to invest. Several experts have reviewed my idea, and have agreed that if a few minor, easy to implement, changes were made, it could be a multi-million$ comp within a few months.

My problem? I dont have the money, and I wont kiss ass to potential investors, so it probably wont happen, and the secret stays with me..I'm easy to get a hold of if you or any other party is interested.

"it could be a multi-million$ comp within a few months. "

Here is an advice you will need.
No stable business is built withing 'a few months'
The faster a business is built, the faster it will break down.

The slower the business is built, the slower it will break down.

Elementary watson :)

You are going off the phrase, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is". I'm sure the net has proven that wrong quite a few times by now. Course, as you know it wouldnt be very bright of me to actually explain anything about it on here. It actually has to do with new faster & cheaper technology coming into competition with older slower & much more expensive technology. With the newer, the profit margin is much higher..

Sorry, but that's just plain rubbish, in today's economy you can get rich VERY fast, and doesn't necessarly means you going to go down as fast, a little common sence is all you need.

I've actually spoken to Webdude about some of his ideas on a few occasions and given the idea, it definitely has real potential for this result in that amount of time. It's rare that that is a reality, but there are those rare ideas that can seriously profit in a short time and remain stable.

He didn't say "new" economy, he said "today's" economy. Today has to have an economy, whether it is similar or not to the "old" economy, otherwise why am I paying money for goods? :)

Todays economy is still the same as 50 years ago.

Hard work
Long hours
~6-12 months in business or more
You can probably start making a profit by then :)

Let alone making millions , lets keep that for next year eh? :)
