Hey, I own a Raq4i and I've had it on the rack for about a week but it's been sitting in the packaging for awhile. Sent it off to colo and every day in about 3 hour intervals, I lose my SSH to the machine for about 45 minutes.

Colo company said everything was fine and that the uptime was at 100% this week. They say they've run system tests on it too.

Do you have any ideas?

What type of switch is it connected to? Ask your colo provider.

Is this a new operating system restore? If not, losing SSH is one symptom of a root compromise that we had on a Raq4 last month. Running chkrootkit showed evidence of a compromise. Note that t0rn8 may be falsely reported on a Raq4 by chkrootkit.
