In reference to our posting at webhostingtalk.com in response to people needing hosting services.
I only want to express to you that LinkSky Hosting offers are legitimate. And we have never received a complaint from anyone.
At first I did not want to lay all this out in detail, in the forum for everyone (our competitors) to see but our unlimited traffic offering comes on the heals of a lot of long and hard work plus some serious investments that involve setting up a load balancing system between three different servers. Furthermore, we are very careful about who we accept as LinkSky customers so as not to become a house for bandwidth hogs, etc. And have made this clear in our AUP. So in essence we offer unlimited traffic to a limited few. (I know, I know.)
Our main intent is to put people's mind at ease about unpredictable hosting costs. The principal demographic we market to are individuals, many of which are stepping up from the likes of GeoCities and looking for inexpensive hosts but fearful of additional traffic charges.
Please don't treat us as crooks. Our main business, Paragon3, a leading edge design firm, has worked extremely hard for the past 12+ years on maintaining an untarnished reputation. Indeed, we would go to almost any length to please any of our customers, no matter how large or small.
Our unlimited bandwidth offering may turn out to be nieve, but it is something that has been in careful preparation for months, and something that we are now spending a great deal per month to maintain. We believe to our hearts, my wife and I, partners in our business, that we can make this work. If it does not, I promise all of you, the only ones burned by this venture will be ourselves. You have my word on that, and THAT has been worth a lot to very many of our customers over the past 12+ years.
To the moderators currently blocking our posts: If you like, I will send you full references, fax our business license, what ever you want. LinkSky Hosting is no sham, we ARE indeed trying something that has not worked out for others, I do realize that. However, we truly believe we have learned from their mistakes and are cautiously moving forward. Give us half a chance and we will fit in as a complement to the spectrum at WebHostingTalk.com
