In the member section on www.rackshack.net I only see about 1 gb of transferred data (monthly). But I'm sure I'm at least using 4 gb every day. I think it's only counting my main ip address. My question is: is rackshack using that same data to calculate usage?
I don't really care because this way they will never charge me for bandwidth but I'm just interested :D

Hey, does your bandwith usage reset each month after you pay for your server? Mine appears not to reset but add on and calculate my total usage since i have been with rackshack


I emailed them a while back and they said that the monitoring includes all ip addresses bandwith usage

I think it does, but it's never higher than about 1 gb so that's a bit strange but nothing to worry about.. it's their problem :spiny:

When I first signed up with Rackshack, they were monitoring the wrong IP address -- had to call support to get it fixed. Now all seems fine though.

Haha that's funny. I saw it a few hours ago, it was showing a strange ip, so I have the same sutuation here. I think this is a bit unprofessional, just like the ip's I got. Someone else was using them too. You can search for it on this forum.. i posted about that earlier. My sites where down for a day because of that mistake (from rackshack)

realy it is hard for me to ever say anything bad about rackshack :-)
