has anyone had this problem even when Fronpage Server Extensions ARE enabled???

You enabled them for the site, correct? Then you enabled them for the user that uploaded the site, correct?

I should have thrown on there, you didn't *also* upload any parts of the site via FTP correct? But even if not, FrontPage extensions get corrupted now and then for no apparent reason, I hate them, urge my users not to use it.

When no explainable reason crosses your mind for something not working, always try deleting the site and recreating it. For whatever reason, like Windows, this sometimes fixes it.

No, they probably won't like it much. Try disabling FrontPage extensions first, then re-enabling them for the site and for the user. They do get corrupted, and make sure your client isn't FTPing to the site *and* using FrontPage.
