What are the con's to having a virtual IP address as oppossed to a static one. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A "virtual ip address" should be fine. The only two reported problems are anonymous FTP and SSL, but both should work as far as I know.

You can do SSL with virtual IPs? I know I've seen people mention doing Anon-FTP with virtual IPs, but afaik SSL still requires a dedicated IP.

Customers often also like to have an IP they can call their own. Don't know why, but they do. It serves no purpose to most of them, but it's neat to have your domain point to your own IP and back. :)

Each SSL Cert HAS to have it's own IP address.
