Can someone try pulling up this site and let me know how fast or slow it loads

This is not spam, one of my clients states that his site loads slow. I am on DSL and a t1 line at work so I am not able to get a true read

I'm sure there is a better way to test :(

It's a bit slow at first, but it loads in a few seconds for me. Mass, USA Cable

It loads fine for me once you actually connect to the website, but the delay in connecting is a bit of a cause for concern.

You see those response times are quite high, but its not due to a bad ping rate because I'm getting 55 ms max when pinging it.

A slight delay can be caused by using a CNAME instead of an A Record for ultimatejobs.com. You currently have an A Record for www.ultimatejobs.com , but not ultimatejobs.com. This isn't the only problem... far from it. A CNAME will only cause a slight delay, not one like you're seeing here.

The page itself also seems to use a lot of PHP/Mysql queries. That may be the source of the delays.

It loaded most of the page in a second or two, but continued to load backend for another 15 seconds for me.

I agree with Sprintserve's comments and would also add that I think there are other issues with the page coding.

Almost everything is pulled into the index page as opposed to a link. The Javascript array and the CSS Style for example. Also you are pulling in carousel.cgi and that I would bet is another cause of slowdown.

Personally I would re-think the whole main page presentation....

It all loads for me in just over 6 seconds without too much of a delay - although I did notice one.

i'm on cable and it loaded instantly

loaded in about 2~3 seconds on my cable. its fine. i also get 42MS ping reply on it. im on Cable.
