I am currrrently looking for a host and I was wondering if any of you could help me out. I as a base I need 100 MB, Unlimited Transfer, unlimited FTP accounts/Subdomains. If you can help me out I beg you to post. I would like it if the price would stay under 20.

Hidama, I think we can all help you with one thing: there is no such thing as "unlimited transfer", for $20 or $200. One piece of advice: if you find someone offering it, don't bother looking further into their plans. A host that would blatantly lie to your face is not worth the effort.
That said, you might want to try some of the configurable search sites, like http://www.hostinvestigator.com http://www.hostsearch.com
etc.
You'd also do well to check the user forums/reviews once you've narrowed down your search a bit, to see what the Real Deal is on the hosts who are on your short list. Don't bother with nay of the so-called ranking sites, as they are as useless as the "unlimited" claims.

Anette, how many sites do you put on one Alabanza server? Just curious how smooth it runs with a good load. Thanks

Jag, they've said you can put 500 sites on a single server, and that might actually be pretty realistic if the sites are low-level, usage-wise. Otherwise, a range of 200-maybe 400 is realistic, depending on how much traffic your users generate across the box. I'm seen some virtual hosts who cram as many as 1000, but all of those have been shared IPs and not dedicated. I don't think there's any hard and fast rule beyond what the host feels is an acceptable response time from the server, and of course that varies from host to host.

Hidama,
There are many good web hosts that can provide what you are looking for. Just be sure to e-mail them to see what their response time is for support. You should never go 24 hours without a response. Six hours is a decent range, and less than 3 hours is good. It all depends on what you need and your budget.
Best regards,
Frank Rietta
