Hi there,
I have a really wierd problem. Basically i have changed hosting providers, and I have updated the ns servers accordinely. Everything was fine and I was able to view my site with the new host until about an hour ago. When i enter my website address I get "account suspended". Which shows details of my old host?!?!?!?
What could possibly be wrong, I have asked a couple of people who live in a different part of the country to test the site and it works fine for them. So why is it just me?!?
I have deleted all my temporary internet files, and I have conducted a traceroute. When doing a traceroute from my computer it ends up going to the I.P address given to me by my old provider. But when I use a web-based traceroute like dns-report.com it end up going to my new host.
So it appears that everyone can see it apart from me.
I have a reseller account which also means I have my own private nameservers.
The domain is webactivehosting.com
Any suggestions anyone?

samspade says your nameservers are:
NS1.WEBACTIVENET.COM 64.191.95.76
NS2.WEBACTIVENET.COM 64.191.95.78
Is this correct?
How long ago did you make the DNS changes? It can take up to a week or more to be visible to you - depending on your ISP and how often they update their DNS servers :0

yes that is the correct name servers. I must admit that I only updated the ns records 3 days ago. but the strange thing is that i have been able to view the correct site for the past 2 days. but now all of a sudden I get my old hosting "this account is suspended page".
My isp is British Telecom (broadband), and they are normally pretty quick updating their nameservers. But i suppose something could have happened. Maybe they had to revert to a backup???? I don't know.
I suppose the only thing i can do is wait a few days.

check in a few days. I know my ISP cache played tricks on me last week. I was able to get to the new host via the domain at work, but when I came home it did not work...

Sometimes domain names can take up to 72 hours to propagate. You must be patient, it's the internet ;)

I always make sure the registrar updated results from www.internic.net/whois.html to double confirm that everything is processing properly.
Most ISPs have different clusters and if only one of them is scheduled to be flushed, but not the others, things like that do happen.
Especially IP-based domain which sometimes happens "www" not resolved but the top level domain does.

thanks for the tips, but the problem is now even wierder. now a week after changing the name servers i still get the same problem. but sometimes (like now) i can point my browser to http://www.webactivehosting.com and its the correct page, but earlier on this morning I tried it and I got the "this account has been suspended". Its nothing to do with the cache because each time i double check and do a traceroute.
I have got my ISP looking into it, and they are a little confused by it. I sent them a file containing the output of the traceroute that pointed to my old host. And I was speaking to the guy on the phone, he was able to browse to the correct page.
Although I am able to get to the correct website now i'm pretty sure that at sometime when i browse to it again that I will find myself at the "this account is suspended" page.
This has been happening to me for the past 3 days now. I must admit its not a huge problem, but still a little confusing. :)

Sounds like a strange issue, but could be something to do with the ISP's nameservers / nslookup. I have actually encounted an issue with a customer before in which their nameservers were updated properly and then re-updated inproperly during a maintenance period that the ISP was performing.
It sounds like you are doing the right thing by contacting the ISP to help resolve this. I would suggest continually having your friends in other locations ping the site too.
