I`m always reading about enom or godaddy. I don`t like enom because i don`t want to be stuck using their ugly PDQ template and i don`t want to use their API because then i`d have to bill the registration and i want them to handle all the billing... not me.

Are there any other good places that are more like dotster but cheaper, all i ever read about are enom and godaddy.

I`m checking out alldomains.com right now, wonder if they have anything decent.

enom is generralyl for resellers - are you looking for a place to register your domain? or register domains for your customers?

If it's the first, then try:
registerfly.com (enom reseller)
namecheap.com (enom reseller)
stargate.com (icann accredited)

edit: godaddy's reseller program is wildwestdomains if you didn't already know.

enom I think is still the best for reselling, but if you dont want to handle the billing i'm not sure what other options there are.

I forget how much Itsyourdomain.com charges, but from i remember they used to have a very good re-seller program available.

No, i don`t want to register the domains myself.

Just want to provide my customers with domain registration services =]

Yeah i know wildwestdomains is with godaddy. Don`t want to use that as i want to integrate the registration into my site design not use that ugly template. That`s why i don`t want enom`s PDQ either.

I suggest you look into dram system then.

its a scrit that uses enom and allows your customers to register their own domains.

dotster also has a reseller program where you can do some basic look/feel modifications

Yeah i almost went with dotster even though they are on the expensive side with $12 per domain... that`s ok. But then i saw that they want to charge a silly $7 per customer if they want to be able to have dns management and update their nameservers.

I was going to use drams with enom... but in order for enom to handle the billing drams has to be used with the API. Don`t want that because with API i have to deposit money.

Eerrr, i don`t want to desposit any money (pain in the neck)...just want something exactly like doster where they bill customers and then simply reimburse me. :(

And i don`t want ugly PDQ templates! :bawling:

Oops my bad. i was wrong Dotster doesn`t charge $7 for domain management like i thought. That charge is for something else or something.

I honestly don't know of a program that will fit your needs. I agree...the Rocket pages are ugly. I learned to live with it. API would be good if you want to deposit the money, which you don't (and I don't blame you). I use RR and would look at using the API if I had enough volume to make it useful.

Yeah, i`ve given up.

Doster is excatly what i want... no monthly fee, no money to deposit, they bill customers and simply reimburse me and i can also integrate the regsitration into my site`s layout.

I just wish dotster charged $10 per domain instead of $12 then it would be perfect. Oh well.

But i still can`t believe that i can`t find anything else out there that is exactly like doster but a little bit cheaper. What`s up with that.

i know i recommend them a lot. But they are who I go with, and i have had no problems with them. They also have reseller options as well. (http://www.gkg.net/domain/alliances/)
