How did you guys come up with domains for your biz? Was it hard to decide? I know many hosting companies who had problems with finding appropriate domain for their biz. Everybody wants something appealing and cool sounding, which at the end only makes it harder for them to decide. Im not a webhost, but have been asked by many of them to get them hosting domains in the past so I know whats going through your mind ;) So, what were you looking for when you were scouting for your domain?

A hosting domain can be anything - it doesn't have to have the word "host" in it.
think of a unique name, that's easy to remember, and isn't too confusing.

Yeah, I was thinking this way as well but - dont you think that one without host/hosting in it needs way more promotion since it doesnt explain itself when seen in written? Somehow I preffer descriptive ones, unless you have plenty of money to spend for advertising and branding your name. Thats at least how I see it..
PS: Sorry, wasnt aware of that part of rules..

Not necessarily "way more". If you can think of something easy to remember, and has "everyday syllables" it can be very easy to remember.
Image when yahoo or google first started out - short, easy to remember, easy to pronounce.
If you make it something like "erxyma" (a hosting company btw) it can be very difficult to remember or spell (whihc i dont know if i did right or not).

Yeah, but are you aware how much money have Google and Yahoo "WASTED" to get the word out? ;) As Ive heard, we are talking millions of dollars here when most guys dont even want to pay more than $100 for a domain ;)
Anyway, Its all up to how you intend to market it I guess..
