Hello,
I have been trying to get this to work for a couple of days know and can't find any help on the net or the enom website so, I thought I might ask the question here.
Ok, a couple of weeks ago my friend registered his domain name at enom.com. He now found a web hosting company that will place his website on their server. Lets say for example ip address no. is 1.2.3.4.5.
Now my friends web hosting company does not offer what I call all those freebies that enom of at http://www.enom.com as follows:
eMail forwarding for up to 50 permanent, personal email addresses
Insertion of your domain name into our geographically disperse name servers where you can make up to 15 "hosts" (or third-level names under your name), such as "www", "mail", or "ftp".
URL forwarding. Point your names to any IP address or URL on the Internet with two types of URL redirection so you can have your name go to any URL on the net the way you want. We also support the most popular DNS record types such as "A", "MX" and "CNAME"
Name management via a web based account where you can easily and quickly manage all your domain names even if they were not registered with us.
Registration of long domain names is no problem for us: up to 63 characters
The question my friend has is since enom mentions that you can use their domain names does he have to point both their names and his new web hosting address on the form or just the new webhosting ip address?
Also for the freebie stuff to work is this automatically connected to when he points the domain name to the new webhosting place the freebie stuff should work.
If someone can show my friend some step by step to get this to work this really would be helpful.
thanks

You have to use enoms Name Servers for them to work

If your friend does a whois lookup, or logs into their domain account, are enom's nameservers listed?
