Someone asks me for a Raq4i with plesk installed on it. Is this possible??

I do not think it possible. Better it would be to be used a 'normal' RH7.x LINUX-Server, if one liked to operate with PLESK. The user administration on the RAQs is administered internally by a PostgreSQL data base and the RH version of Cobalt differs somewhat from the original distribution.

Agreed, and I believe Plesk likes to be installed on a clean box, which would mean that you'd loose all RaQ functionality, which just doesn't make sense.

Nope, not possible

Someone came into the chatroom and mentioned that Plesk has a RaQ with (not surprisingly) Plesk on it, but I doubt it has both Plesk and the Cobalt OS.

It isn't that it isn't possible, it is just that it you'd be better off installing it on a regular (so to speak) linux box. To me, it is like buying a MAC, so you can run Windows applications on it. Better off getting an IBM compatible machine (do they still call it that?).

I contacted Plesk and they told me it was possible. But not recommendable.

Thats funny because they keep emailing me asking me if I want to do it, I tell them no, and they still email a week later asking if I changed my mind lol
