I'm setting up a new server with it's first account using whm I got the error shown below :

User detroitw added
Changing shell for detroitw.
Shell changed.
Copying skel files from /root/cpanel3-skel/ to /home/detroitw/

I should be able to surf to this account (virtual ) at http://24.221.xxx.xx/detroitw
but I get an 404 error , is this because I have not setup anything in the skeleton directory ? or does it have something to do with "Died at /scripts/initsuexec line 5." shown above ?

If it is a name based acoount, use:

http://24.221.xxx.xx/~detroitw/

otherwise, just use http://24.221.xxx.xx. (without the directory - it hasn't been created yet)

I telneted in and the directory structure is there . The account was created , I went ahead and threw in an index page but still get a "The requested URL /detroitw was not found on this server." error when I surf to the server IP /detroitw ?

Did you created this account and re-created it again ? or perhaps changed ownerships on the virtual account ?
Remove/delete entire site and re-create it, that should take care of it :)

Here is Nicks response to the ticket :
"This won't affect anything, however I've removed the warning.
J. Nick Koston Sr. Systems Administrator"

I would have liked a little more info but I'll take his word for it .

Where is WHM located on the server?

This is the command to reload and restart nameserver right?

I saw somewhere on the use of WHM reload and WHM restart

I've tried locate WHM and got nothing.
