I would transfer my domain from directnic to onlinenic, i have get the email from directnic that tell:

You will need to enter your directNIC username and password to access this URL.


Now my hosting company is closed so how can i transfer this domain if i dont have a user and psw?

Are you the registered person for that domain?
Do you have access to the email shown on the whois?

yes i have get the email that is send to the admin-c i have click on the link and the after day i have get email from directnic that i should enter in a private are to approve the transfer. :angry:

Have you tried emailing DirectNic?
maybe you can tell me what your domain(PM) is and I can try to help you out.

You can possible save some transfer fee's if you change the DNS
at Directnic for your domain name, to be served at your new hosts' server, and manage the domain from that account.

what's with trasfer fee! it's a one year renewal with
new register. and he want to make trasfer domain
and that directnic account does not belong to him :-(
some day ago i also initiate a trafer and
get a email form direcnic stating that .
but as far as i know , it's winning reg's resposibily to
send a email to admin contact and provide a link to
approve the trasfer.
what the heek of loosing reg,s email like that
and say"you will need to enter your *** name and pass to make trafer".
isn't it enough to have admin email is your's and
you cliek link send by winning regitarer?

You can always order your transfer by faxing some documents to them. Of course, you must be the Registrant and/or Administrative Contact of the domain name.

i send a mail to support. reply was strange.

they said i have to trafer it to anather direcnic account before i can tranfer it to anather registatar! +they send a 3 page doc which need also sign of current account holder+new account holders sign + notary public viewd+++faxed them to directnic!!!

plz note admin email is our not directnic username
they also say "if you dont click the link transfer will decline in72 hours"!!
i aslo ask crazy support guy"where you get the number 72 hours and where you get the policy that lossing registarar auto decline in 72 hours explicitely?"
no mail so far,though sun day today,just wating

they are really crazy when see a client going out of their hand :-(

so why the lossing reg(directnic) send me a email that stat
"please be aware that approving such trasfer in such a case could result in the loss of your domain name to a third party "
or
"to cancel this request ,you just ignore the email,and the transfer will be decline autometically 72 hours from the time it was send "


and finally give a link (mebmer area with that username/pass)that belong to super crazy guy(X-ISP) that i will even not talk now to make the tranfer.
remember : directnic is lossing reg.
