Hi,

I have currently parked my domain with the registar of the domain.

I requested them 5 days ago to change DNS to point to my new account. But now 5 days after still pointing to their DNS!!!

Its a Co.uk domain. Is there anyway that I can change the DNS record to point to my new Name-servers myself?? (www.nic.uk??)

I paid for hosting and cannot use my account yet

Please reply on this soon as possible guys!

If you have requested the change from the ISP in writing and they do not comply - you can phone Nominet and they will help you.

First they will ask you for proof that you have requested the change from the ISP and then they will issue a 24 hour notice to the ISP requesting that they give a good reason for not updating the TAG/DNS.

If they ignore this notice then Nominet will do it for you.

Nominets phone number is : 01865 332211

Hi mlovick

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah.. I will try "kick" my current ISP. :stickout
But its weekend so gotta wait till monday!

I mailed them last sunday, since no reply, I gave them call on Monday and they said Ok and that it will take 72hours before I would see the change online but first tuesday I got an email saying the completed my request.

Now gotta sit here and waste time and money!
