Just wondering if anyone is doing this but I will like to know if while using Cpanel you can store users DB files and users e-mails at each users home dir. I know you can do it with mySQL but how easy will it be to do it using Cpanel?
Thanks in advance.
Well, I don't think that cpanel will like it that much, but you can always do a symlink to those files from within each users directory.
But, the downside is that symlinks can be hard on your system (too many of them), and they are not actualy files, rather links to them.

Yeah, I actually read a post on here before about it but I didn't know if there was another way of doing it. It's no big deal though. There has to be another way of installing Cpanel so that it will allow this. I will have to get in touch with Burstnet then.

Users email should currently be stored in the user's home dir in any version of the cpanel. I do not know how easy it would be to store mysql databases in the user's home dir though. I have looked into it but have not tested anything because i didn't want to screw anything up with the cpanel ;)
