I have got to be missing something running a hosting business myself. How can a business stay in business when they make $1.66 a MONTH from a customer. And out of that $1.66 they pay for a server, phone lines, other utilities. I know some servers can hold more domains than 300.. but from what I see on average most hosts on this board stay around 300 domains a server. At $1.66 that's $498 for 300. A typical server runs I see advertised here ranges around $300 or more. This is not a negative post... I just don't understand how to have longevity on such small margins.

Um..I thought the rules were that any host cannot simply put, "we have what you need, click here?"To my understanding any host offering a plan must state what the plan is and whats included and the price and not just say"we have a plan for you click our link..
edude 06-19-2001, 08:40 PM I agree with you but... all posts are moderated and they wouldn't be accepted if they broke the rules :)
