Running Redhat up2date, I receive the following error:

Unresolvable chain of dependencies:
perl-5.8.0-88 requires perl-NDBM_File <= 1:1.75-34.99.6

perl-NDBM is installed with that same version. Can anyone help?

Have you tried "up2date perl"?

maybe download up2date update rpm using ftp and apply before using it to update the system from the shell?
