A lot of people like site5, ive spoke to matt he seems cool. You should get a real internet merchant account, its not that expensive or dificult.

Yes, Site 5 is great, they had a little down time a few months ago, but none I've seen in the past few months, and you can't beat their price! Support could be a but quicker, but it's fine for me!

They had downtime because they were moving out of VDI. :)

I liked what I saw at site5 except for the lack of any contact numbers or physical addresses. That always makes me nervous regardless of the glowing recommendataions and the fact that I may go with them over venturesonline. (I understand about endless calls to tech support that may need to be re-routed.) Simple items such as billing issues and inconsistencies on your web site (how many gigs of transfer do I get with virtual accounts? Seems in contrast to your faqs) can or need to be taken care of quickly. Additionally, you should do something about the client sites listings. Unless I'm seeing something amiss most don't work or are in progress. Not what you want to showcase...

I signed up with Site5 2 days ago, and I think they are great.

Actually to test my theory out (and other's opinions), I actually emailed them about getting a module installed (some graphic module for content management software). I got an email back saying they would install it asap.

I am certainly impressed. And the price is great.

how many days does it take to get your welcome email or anything stating that u have purchased something?

This thread is more than 4 years old. Isn't bumping against the rules here? To answer your question, best contact Site5 to get your answer. I think it takes a day or two with them, and most other hosts that setup their accounts manually, and do proper fraud checks.
