Hello,

I found some deals on dedicated servers I am considering.

They come in 2 options. With plain Redhat 7.3 or with ENSIM.

So I guess if I were to go with the redhat one, I would need to buy a Cpanel license for an extra $50/month or so.

Are there any advantages in having redhat on your box instead of the plain unix/ensim configuration.

The server will be used mainly for 5 working websites and 50 domains with html priviliges.

Please, I would appreciate any advice. I have learned a lot in this forum and I am about to learn more. :)

Thank YOU,

Nikos

The only advantage I would see is the administrator's experience with either platform.

Other than that, should'nt make any difference performance, or administrative difference.

Doesn't ensim require, or at least strongly urge you to install it with redhat 7.2?
