First, they spammed a friend of mind who doesn't know much about web hosting. Second, I checked and noticed they are offering odd plans like 700MB of space with 70GB of bandwidth for the price of $59.95 a month. And last, they don't seem to have a secured ordering forum, so that's bad!

Doesn't look like it since their site just says "test me" that's it.

Hi

I have been looking for a good host, and a friend directed me to nerding.com as well. I looked at their packages, and Im pretty interested in the medium package.

Anyone have used it yet? Are they reliable??? I'm sure you all know my trouble when I tell you I'm now hosted at hostonce.CON.:bawling: I have been desperately surfing and reading all hosting related forums.

Cheers!

$60/month for 70GB of bandwidth is alot, it'd have to be very high quality for them to be asking much (I'm not saying that it is, but to ask for that much it should be). Never really heard of them though, did you try doing a search on these forums?

Beware of this spam scum. Also, it's not the first time. I got spammed by these guys 3 weeks ago as well but the site had a different name but the same layout. That being "host" in a subdirectory:

http://www.nerding.com/host/support.htm

Support form exactly the same, goes to an IP and doesn't work. Last time I tried to submit an offensive support request that cried SCUM, but was unable to get my point across.

Sorry, spammers. They scum. Close this thread.

Not really. In order not to oversell, such prices are common.

I agree, those prices are not that expensive.

It depends on the number, and also what type of site/s you are looking to host, can you give some info on that?

I love the hosting company I am with, and I get an insane amount of resources, for close to nothing, because I use my whole reseller account for all of my own domains, currently 70+
It would cost me $800+ a month separately,
I pay only $35.00 a month

Cheers

Do you mean the kind of site? Well.. its www.kaichia.com. its a car site. It is always down, very irritating. I need something that supports asp&access2000, and can handle it well. The prob with hostonce is that their server I think cannot handle too many clients, and this is giving me error all over. But if html only, it works.

Ive read from this forum that some hostonce users account were terminated because their website used up too much bandwidth. My site is very "young" but, we are growing, I fear that might happen to me as well, therefore I need to find some place else to go to.

Cheers!

$60/70 gb of transfer is not a lot, it's very cheap.

Sorry I read the post wrong... Was a bit tired, I thought it said something else, $60 for 70GB is a good price.

I don't use anyone who spams. I've received their 'offers' and reported every one, both to their immediate upstream and server beach. Not that it will do any good, I guess...

Looks like they're hosted with ServerBeach.com... last I knew they had pretty good bandwidth, so those prices don't seem too bad

You can always contact serverbeach.com with the spam you receive. I am sure they would do the right thing.

Got the same spam, seems the nerding.com is blank but they send out spam with alternate pages, probably testing the spam waters to see how many response they get directed toward a single page.

Next spam campaign, they setup another spam2.html page.
