Hi,

I have to apolgise for anything i have said negative about tera-byte.com over the past few weeks. Steve Keyser personally called me today to explain the entire problem with connection to my server.

Tera-byte were unaware of the problem to one area of there network that was causing slow responses times from servers. They now do know what the is problem and have techs working on it as you read this. Too much traffic was being pushed accross and when i say too much i mean a lot 400 gigs on some servers. This being pushed across one area between six hundred servers does cause a massive slow down. And i thank Steve for taking the time to phone me and explain the problem in detail and this goes to show he is serious about customer service. He explained the problem which turned out there wasnt really a problem with email responses. I guess its the difference in how we say things in the UK as apposed to the USA and Canada and its easy to get them mixed up.

Sorry Tera-byte and keep up the good work.

Whats the big deal with a customer saying sorry to a company or to the public on behalf of the customer because it seems when the **** hits the fan, the company is never anywhere to be seen when they have to do the apologizing. Tera-byte has had their bad times, yet you never seen Steve come in here an apoligize to anyone

Steve took time out to actually call me ... Do you see the CEO of other companys doing that size doing the same or even coming in here and posting?

Superman, have you ever heard of the owner of such a big NOC calling his cleints explaining the problem to them?? also, the company did call technics explaining to him what the problem was.. soo.. they did do thier part..

btw.. ive been noticing all your posts over the past few days.. they are highly negative about everything... something wrong?

Perhaps not so much of an apology is due rather than a thank you to Tera-Byte. It's not like the problems didn't actually occur, however it's nice to know that they care enough to call their customers and personally explain what the problem was.

Regardless of what it is, it shows a lot of integrity on Tera-byte's part, which is quite commendable.

Best Regards,

From my point of view I can't see Tera-Byte running without Steve. When I was a customer I always got the fastest and best replies when I talked to Steve while other technicans actually managed to do more harm than good.

But I can only say they were mostly a good host though.

What the heck does that gotta do with this thread and my apology to steve and tera-byte?

Id like the moderators to remove this post by him or move it too another thread as this was meant to be a pleasant thread and not one that broke out a full scale riot.
