I was hosting my site at TacidHost.. but all of you know TacidHost is dead... So Shang moved (gave me new DNS) my site to InterHost.co.uk and site was up for few days (till yesterday) but InterHost also closed my site and says they have nothing to do with Tacid customers.. Then how come Shang transfered my site to them? But then how come InterHost still says "This site is being parked for a client." (My site sanres.com). What should I do? Anybody got same experience???
Please help....

Sanjay,

Find yourself a new Webhost, Shang isnt going to solve your problem for you.

I recommend you check out http://www.dim8.net a number of board users here who were with Tacidhost have gone with them and have all been impressed with the service.

Thanks. That means just don't worry about the money we lost... Just find new way, right?!!!
Any way, even I don't think if there's any other solution..!

No, my friend, I sent him e-mail in that 24hr period, but that e-mail bounced back to me. And after that also I sent so many e-mails all of them are bounced back. He just played with customers. Poor guy. I am still in a 30 day trial period... but now better I forget it...

I suggest moving on to a new reliable host such as Futurequest.net this way you wont have any problems in future. There is not much you can do unless you take them to court.

No! His TOS prohibits him from putting a time limit on refunds. DO NOT ASK SHANG FOR A REFUND!!! CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY OR INSTABILL AND ASK FOR A CHARGEBACK FOR UNDELIVERED SERVICES. THAT IS THE ONLY GUARANTEED WAY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

Chargeback and the money is yours again. Also... I'm pretty sure interhost shut him down right away. They won't allow someone like him to be a client.

And my site too... :(

I like Interhost Unix servers - very good speed for me.
But I have problem with hosting payment: I have no any credit card and in my country I have only two ways to pay: Western Union (to person only, not to company) and sending cash money by mail(in postal pocket).

Does anybody know enough good hosting company which accepted this sort of payments?
Please let me know... :(

Sav, yes their unix server's are pretty fast and good. But how come they are hosting your site? Is it still there and up? If you have already paid Shang then why you need to pay InterHost again? (If shang moved you to InterHost). These guys have cheated us.

I see my money was taken on or after April 14. Time to steer a domain? May 14...a month...was it not June 1,2,3 tacid disappeared? All that time tacid was down most the time only to surface to collect $20's again. I presume I have no recourse with instabill or my bank?

$20 is not the end of the world but its the frustration of being ripped.Besides that some have ethics why can't we all start collecting $20 sums and deliver no services? 14,000+ $20's collected?

I find it even more irritating the disappearing act.

I think it's painfully obvious that they have absolutely no intention on refunding anyone -- even the people that were able to get through to them in the 24 hour time limit. That seems like an initial way to avoid the majority of the people and hope they give up or get off your back. Who knows what excuse he'll give the people that did get through inthe first 24 hours, but I'd bet they don't see any refund. Is this guy any relation (or the same person) as Peter Francis Macrae? Hmmm, I think I might know of a company that will buy Tacid, now that I think of it.. *LOL*
