Along the lines of "you get what you pay for," I'm looking for a simple hosting account for my personal page.
5-10megs of space,
domain name (already have one, but a cheap renew would be nice)
5 pop accounts or so
ftp access (to use blogger)

No big bells or whistles. No mailing lists or shadiness. Simple unix account is nice. Like to pay for 1 year at a time and not worry about it too much. Make me an offer and we'll talk.

We normally don't have to make deals at $44 a year for a gig transfer, 200 megs space, cgi, php, mySQL, ssi 200 pop accounts.

You could consider our AH3 plan. Annually, a little over US$60. It provides 100mb of space, but if you want to cut that back to 50mb we'll throw in a free domain name.

I'm not too adamant about 1gig of transfer. I've just seen some sites offering 100meg/month, and that's just too low. And I'd like to have the server located in the US since that's where I am.

Editor, how do you think the California power situation will effect your hosting?

And thanks, guys, keep 'em coming.

We're fairly confident in our NOC mate. We've watched the news with some interest...some are coming, some are going. Some are even still building.

But at the end of the day, we can move at a moments notice to a more suitable location with minimal disruption.
