When setting up a domain name, it shows the default "it worked" apache homepage, instead of the directory set-up in WHM. The DNS settings & everything is right. I've only used Raq's before, so i dont know if i'm skipping something with WHM

Also, the domain is name-based, not IP-based.

Here you can see it: http://www.mchost.com/

It could be that there is something wrong with the DNS ...that it is pointing to the server IP instead to the hosted account.

Connections directly to mchost.com. really connect to:
/usr/local/bin/domtools/ns: no NS resource records found for 169.123.209.in-addr.arpa.
/usr/local/bin/domtools/ptr: cannot find any nameservers for zone 169.123.209.in-addr.arpa.
ERROR (209.123.169.173)

Can you post your sites DNS record ?

Make sure to use the main server IP for name based sites...

I copied & pasted the source of the WHM DNS manager: http://www.crawlix.com/dns-records.html

The main server IP is: 209.123.169.171
NS1 & NS2: 209.123.169.173 & 209.123.169.173

Same problem. There must be something wrong with the DNS. Since when i remove the account, the apache index page still shows up :D :(

Try adding another A record
www.mchost.com A 209.123.169.171

if that doesn't work then um...

Even when setting up IP-based hosting ( @ 209.123.169.202), the apache website shows up.

Could have been a propagation issue. We have a customer from Australia now who can't access his domain after 3 days! Some ISPs are very slow.
