I finally got a credit account with one of the major retailers and i wanted to ask which should i get.I currently have a Dell 1.7Ghz and am going to be passing it along to my mom.I was wondering what you guys would suggest ? A Desktop or a Laptop ? What are the pros and cons ? Ive been wanting a laptop because i wanna set up a wireless network were i can browse the web anywere in my house.Who here uses a laptop in there everyday work ?

I personally prefer desktops.. i love BIG machines. :D

I have both. My main work is done on a desktop. For obvious reasons. Laptop for travel, connection during "TV" time for monitoring sites, etc.
