Still down, Deserves it's own thread after almost a week.
They used to anwer the phone 24/7 .
Now : "I'm sorry are you still there?" (won't take a message)
No return of mail either.
If they are overwhelmed with something and to busy to answer correspondence then they should at least put a temporary page stating what's wrong and when it will be fixed. That would make customers feel much more secure.
I feel that they have a good thing in the works and will keep the 4 sites placed there so far with them for a while; they still work. The problem with the control panels is annoying but I don't have any databases on there which seem to be the problem and my customers don't deal with them anyway.
I'm praying for them
LS
May the 'phorce' be with them. I'm keeping hope alive...
wish lenix would at least post something like...
"Sorry for the inconvenience... please be patient..." or how about just "hello, we're alive but our DCC is not";)
Last word I got several days ago before everything blew up was that they were reworking the mysql dcc interface... so if that's the hold up... then i'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
BUT geezz man, say something:eek:

I think we all are dreaming.
What lenix & his comapny has proven is -They are not going to protect their customers-specially Resellers.
What to bother???
Nobody can assure they won't do this in future :o
Do not ASK anybody to say SORRY for you :D
:( but true, as i shake myself from that stupor:puke:
Well, back to reality... if i liked the ease of use of the 'concept' of dp's dcc then what do recommend...
my sites require:
nix
Apache (with all bells/whistles)
Mysql (latest stable release)
PHP 4.0.4pl1+ (with ability to recompile with whatever extensions/libs or have most of the forward reaching ones already in)
Or please direct me somewhere else:confused:
I've looked WHT high/low and i feel like i've got to set-up my own config on a ded serv when it doesn't seem too difficult to want to be current...:o
i'm all eyes

It's not just the control panel - I have not been able to get email from any of my sites since Saturday.
Their email server had a similar problem last week. Their own site or parts of it seem to be down much of the time.
I emailed them twice - no response. I even joined icq and tried to contact them - offline and no response. I phoned them (from Australia!), left a message on their machine - no response.
I think I have to assume that they are out of business. They have almost put me out of business with their email problems - my clients and prospects can't contact me!
So I am cutting my losses and bailling out as fast as I can. Might have to go to webhostvendor.com (yuk) because I resell and have adult sites.
My preference is wizardshosting.com but I have been waiting 12 hours for a response to my email..... Anyone got comments on them?
Any suggestions are very welcome!
