What processor does he want? That comes down as the determining factor on the price. For that quote, I would guess that you can only get a Celeron.

I can't speak for other hosts on here, but I wouldn't be expecting a lot of offerings pouring into your inbox. $125 a month is very cheap for a dedicated server, much less for one with 40GB of bandwidth and 256MB RAM.

AMD Athlon 900 Processor would be prefered, but we are not looking for anything in particular. I suppose we could raise the price to $140/mo if you can offer us everything we're looking for.

Athlon 900?? Are you kidding? I think it's slim to none chance that you can get a Athlon 900 with all those specs for $140 per month along with $0 setup. Expect to pay atleast $250.

Hell the best I can do for $150 is celeron 700, 128 ram, 20GB HD, with 15GB BW. Be more reasonable with your requests. Your asking for something nobody except people who want to loose there shirt will/can offer you. Be realistic. You've been hanging around here for a while you see what has been offered rethink what your clients need and re think what you need to pay. And if it doesn't make sense it probablly is not possible.

We are simply posting the specs that our client wants. I specifically said that we can't accomodate him.

Thats For Sure That You Are Not Getting An Athlon 900 for $140. But Even If You Get You Are Not Going To Get The Support , Service , Connection Speed & Uptime You Are Looking For That Price. So Be carefull.

Jedito: I think for $200/mo a number of hosts could offer him something that would come close to or meet his needs. I don't think he's willing to pay that much, though.

Well I found that cheap dedicated with no setup fee and I want to share with he. Maybe I was wrong. Sorry then.:(

You could always point him to a RAQ4 server (as a comprimise) or even *ack* a ***** server if you are feeling evil :D
