We don't exactly have a forum for this, but here it goes:

I'm going to soon open a news site along with a discussion forum. I have a great place to advertise (with CPM banners), where I believe I can achieve 10% click through. After the site gets going, I want to start a subscription based newsletter and banner/text advertising on the site. This is where my income will eventually come from. However, I'm stuck back at step one: the initial advertising costs. The place I'm going to charges $10 CPM, with a minimum $500 (50,000 impression) purchase. If you have money I would like to partner with me, send me an e-mail (in profile). We should be able to figure out some sort of revenue sharing contract once revenue starts to roll in.

With 40 views and no responses it safe to say no one here is interested.

But does anyone know where can I look for financial partners/sponsors?

just a thought for ya ya may want to do some research on banner clickthroughs
I am not trying to be harsh but no way are you going to get 10%

maybe .10% maybe you will be as lucky as to get 1% but before ya throw your money away check into some other means of income for it

There's one place that will be extremely targeted towards my site, so I wouldn't rule out 7-10% clickthrough. Now if I only had the money to buy these banners...

I've been looking into some more options and figure if I can run a great advertising campaign for $2500. I already have 2 people willing to help, so if you want to invest and get a high percentage of return once the site is profitable, please send me an e-mail.
