OK, I had a reseller server, that all of a sudden didn't want to resell any more, so my site was closed down without notice.

So I looked and hunted and checked and found what I think may be a good host, jaguarpc.com so I signed up. they had the domain info sent to me within a half hour. They said if my name 'midamericascreens.com' was registered at Network Solutions they'd change my info for me. I'm almost positive it was registered there.

now comes the good part

So now it's been two days and midamericascreens.com hasn't been transfered to the new NS's, I don't want to blame jaguarpc.com because I don't think they're to blame.

The original reseller put my info in, but got the e-mail wrong, it should be cozycabin@mvn.net not cozycabin@mail.mvn.net
I went through all the steps to get info changed (including the fax), but after a day and half, still nothing has changed, I need my site back up and running as 30% of my sales come from the internet.

I don't know what to do, should I wait longer, should I fax Network Solutions another note? maybe a nasty one?

Imean, how long does it take for a damn Name Server transfer?

Simple, do these steps:

1) Go to: http://www.networksolutions.com/makechanges/fax/hostform.html

2) Fill out and print it and fax along with letterhead with your name, address, etc

3) Even make a copy of your drivers license if need (best bet helps)

4) Fax it between 11pm till 5am, thats when Fax machine will answers :)

5) Your done, wait 2-3 days, they ll fix it for you

If not work, let me know I ll find other way

Hope it helps

Did it as you described.

I have to wait longer? Damn!

what about the NS transfer can that be acomplished without my right email. It only took 24 hour for my other domain to be transfered.

Thanks

If you are still on speaking terms with your old host and they are listed as the technical contact, it may be faster to have them submit the change for you. I've found that NSI can be very quick if everything is done the exact way they want it done. After the transfer, you can make sure the email is correct, then find a new registrar and transfer your registration services.

CrazyOne,

Did you recieve a confirm email from NSI?

if you did, they are in process updating, shld take 24 hours.

If not 2-3 days at least maybe LESS!

In response to scwood, I was being nice when I said he didn't want to sell anymore, he's gone, disappeared, no answers to email, phone... :(

Don't know, I changed the info, got an email, sent it back, got another email (with tracking number) then put the tracking #, and a copy of my drivers licence on the fax form.
At 11am central time it'll be 48 hours since I faxed the info to Network Solutions. Give me a break, it's just an email change (from 'cozycabin@mail.mvn.net' to 'cozycabin@mvn.net', all other info is the same, it shouldn't take that long to change.
