I'm a webhost based in india
After going thru the WHT i decided to go for a dedicated Cobalt with rackshack . Unfortunatly when i tried to order my dedicated the following message appeared

HTTP Error 403
403.6 Forbidden: IP address rejected

This error is caused when the server has a list of IP addresses that are not allowed to access the site, and the IP address you are using is in this list.

Please contact the Web server's administrator if the problem persists.

I'd tried using 4 different ISP's but it always gives the same message..???? what could be wrong ...did they blocked the complte IP range of all the 4 ISP's I'm using or is their some other problem ??:angry: :angry: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

Rackshack has been having problems with their order scripts. They may have it corrected now, so I would try again. If not, send a note directly to the sales staff. Rackshack's sales staff would be more than happy to set you up via email if you cannot use their scripts.

I 've sent a mail to their sales, support and their VP and it has been three days but no reply....if the support initiallly even when i'm trying to buy one is like this ...what should i expect for future...

and if its a script problem then their must be some people who are on this forum who had purchased the dedicated from rackshack ...can you assist me how did you ordered..

I ordered online without any problems. Rackshack support has a lot of praises and negatives on these boards. You may want to do some searching or find other Rackshack clients who are not based in the US and get their opinions.

Finally today it seems they have worked on their problems..today while I tried to log on I found the following message :

not sure about the time dif for you to racksahck
but you will be disapointed if you are not on texas time
they shut down there support sys adn all pages for around 6-9 hours each night
9pm till 6 am or so texas time
which screws us in othere areas of the world
they say it is routine maint
every night adn it takes em that long ;(
