Its so hard searching for a new host. I was formerly with ipowerweb by the way but their support takes a good 72 hours so I didnt like that too much at all. And now I've gotten some really good suggestion on hosts from this site but I'm still so torn. For one dathorn is already sold out for the time beingand I'm still contemplating clookhost as second but dathorn seems to have the best prices and reputation from what I'm reading. Its seems really impossible to find a host, as I decide on one and then find posts by angry customers (I'm talking about RSM) Any final suggestions people or should I just flip a coin, LOL?!

I haven't used any of these companies but they seem to get good reviews: Unitedhosting.co.uk, httpme.com, and voxtreme.com (voxtreme might be wrong... sorry)

"Nasty" Bob (httpme.com) runs a good solid business and has outstanding support. I have never used his company but I speak with him on a regular basis and he receives alot of great reports here.

UH-Matt (Unitedhosting.co.uk) is also a frequent poster here and also receives alot of good reviews.

And if Tony were alowed to sing his own praises, he'd tell you Voxtreme are pretty good too :) They've recently taken on additional staff, although I don't know how many there are :?

I would root for Gary from Aussie Hosts anytime. I have been with him for quite sometime now and he has not failed to live up to his reputation in his prompt service and support even once.

There are 8 of us now.

I am a Dathorn client and EXTREMELY happy with them. And yes, I know trying to get a server space with them at this point is an excercise in patience, but I can tell you for sure that it's worth the wait. Unless you are in an urgent situation, if you are looking for a "long term" solution, I would strongly suggest patience.

I've been a hosting client of various services for my own personal sites for more than ten years and have used a BUNCH of services in doing so. So I have a good reference point for this stuff. And while there are many ways to comparision shop, there is only ONE major point of importance as far as I am concerned, and THAT is support. I can promise you that you will NOT find support as expedient AND as competent easily. This is above and beyond his pricing.
