How can i save the DNS info mail address name server info and the IP address used buy each domain.....i don't wanna have to setup all that again if the raq where to crash or something i dont need to save the content of each site just the info i listed above. I would like to save all that to my HD if i can? I don't need any more extra charges from my host for backups :)

also is the bandwidth on the RaQ3 in real time it reads alot lower than what my old host said i used a day or does ir depend on the company im leasing it from when it gets updated?

You can backup the server files through the admin control panel... Just don't count on being able to restore it if the HD crashes. This happened once on our Raq3 and it was a nightmare to restore. We had to convert the Raq's backups to tar files and then restore those.

Also, the Raq's stats are not updated in real-time, they are updated every night when the logs are rotated. I should add if the logs are rotated... A lot of cobalts with over 100 virtual sites do not rotate the logs properly.

You should make a tarball of all your DNS config files, and download them to your computer daily. It would be fairly simple to write a small script to do this for you and add it to your crontab.

E-mail me if you would like my assistance.
