Just want to check,
I've been monitoring my server at nocster constantly, and since about 6pm today (28th) i have had no speed or downtime issues. I dont' want to get over-excited and think all the issues have been ironed out, but is anyone else noticing a speed increase the last few hours or am i just running into a tad bit of luck? Or has everyone else bailed out of their DC and i now have a network to myself :)

I'm going on 5 solid hours of serious uptime right now, I haven't seen an announcement since mentioning the switches but by golly I think they are on to something over there.

I'm sure there will be tweaks (always are) but the major storm seems to be over :)

This one was scheduled maintenance:

<< 10 Minute Downtime - Maintenance Required

A downtime of approx 10 minutes is expected tonight (technically Saturday morning...), after 12AM, to upgrade PPL Telcom's Nortel sonet equipment. They are replacing cards for gigabit capacity, so we can increase our bandwidth thru them down to Philadelphia. The fiber currently has the capacity, but the required routing cards need to be put in place. >>

We are running on limited carriers now, while this is taking place, hence slow speeds or dead cached routes.

Upgrade should be quick...
