Can someone please refer me to a good reliable host...so far I have tried two different companies and have been very dissapointed. Dot5 was horrible and now rdlDesign hosting is pretty bad as well.
Someone please point me in the right direction...thanks

If you post your specs in the "Web Hosting Request Forum" many hosts will try to help you.

PositiveHost has a point: post your specs (disk space, bandwidth, price range, other requirements) in the Web Hosting Requests forum.
Check over the hosts that reply and make a shortlist. Make your shortlist by seeing who comes closest to the specs you put forth, visiting their sites and evaluating what you see there, maybe sending a few emails to their support or presales departments and see what kind of response you get back.
Then come back here and ask for feedback by anyone else who has used the hosts on your shortlist. (Also check other places for host feedback: FindMyHosting, other forums, et cetera.)

I am kind of hoping that some people can share some positive feedback and then I can research from there.

You would need to put some efforts into if you really want to find a good and reliable host. With little information that you've provided, it's hard for others to tell one which one is good, which one isn't.
There are basically three steps to get yourself started.
1) http://webhostingtalk.com/newthread.php?s=&action=newthread&forumid=32 Post a web hosting request. You sound like you know what your hosting needs are, so be as specific as possible.
2) Narrow down the hosting companies which make you offers, see which of those have the closest offer. Then do a http://webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s= . You can most likely find some feedbacks and reviews from their current or past customers.
3) If you can't, then do a http://webhostingtalk.com/newthread.php?s=&action=newthread&forumid=1 to ask people how they think about it. New host might not get too much reply.
Also take living_media's advice. Good luck.
